Plusnet launches new broadband and phone deal for customers feeling the pinch
Internet service provider Plusnet has unveiled a new broadband and phone package for just £16.99 a month aimed at customers who want a high quality service that doesn’t break the bank.
The award winning company’s Essential package has no hidden costs and is not an introductory offer, meaning consumers pay the same price throughout the duration of the 12-month contract.
The package includes 1GB of broadband usage, home phone line rental and all weekend UK landline calls*. Like all of Plusnet’s broadband packages usage between midnight and 8am is free, so customers won’t be eating into their allowance during this time. Additional usage can be bought for £1 per GB in advance or £1.25 per GB after.
Neil Laycock, Plusnet’s CEO, said: “There are millions of people paying too much for their broadband and not getting a decent service. They're looking for another option and Plusnet is ready to welcome them.”
As well as a new product, Plusnet has also launched a new look, revamping its website (www.plus.net) and unveiling a new company logo.

* All weekend calls to 01, 02 and 03 UK landline numbers are included in the Plusnet Essential package. Weekend is classified as 6pm Friday-8am Monday. Calls are chargeable after 60 minutes. To avoid these charges customers can hang up and redial before this time.
