How much can I use?

Broadband Premier comes with a 20GB peak-time (4pm-Midnight) usage allowance, with the option of upgrading your allowance should you need more.

How is traffic managed?

Broadband is delivered over a shared network, so to ensure everybody gets the right experience appropriate to their product we manage Broadband Premier traffic.

Broadband Premier is designed to cater for some peer-to-peer, binary Usenet, FTP or other intensive usage, but you will see slow downs on these applications at peak-times, especially as you approach your usage allowance. Try and shift this type of usage to off peak-times to get faster speeds.

You can continue to use your connection even when you reach your usage allowance, but certain applications will be blocked at peak-times. Find out more about traffic management.

Broadband Premier comes with 240 minutes of Broadband Phone calls (sometimes called VoIP) to use at anytime each month*. International calls and calls to mobiles are also at cheap rates so you can make great savings on your phone bill.
